The Reds Will Bleed In Red
Professorkaka, from our sister site 11Reds, has agreed to do an interview with us ahead of the Manchester United game. This is a part of an ‘Interview Exchange’ between the two sites before the big kick-off. Read on and form your own opinions. You can read my own...
I was surfing through the net today and I found this wonderful tool meant to celebrate Spurs’ failure since ages (since 1961, to be precise The first thought that came to my mind once I saw this was that this gadget needs to be shared among fellow gooner and thus this post on 11G. The tool has been developed by Up The Arse, a fanzine. This tool is basically a clock which tells us the amount of time passed since Tiny Totts won the league. The link to the tool is here. I welcome Gooners all over the world to go ahead and enjoy this magic gadget. Read on..
Summer is here & the transfer market is rife with speculations. Every day a new name pops up linking him with a possible move to the Emirates. Even more frequent is the ‘calling’ for Cesc to his spiritual home i.e. Camp Nou. All this has made me sick to the point that I’ve avoided dwelling into them right from the offset. A saner reason would be that exams have kept me busy & we @11G will return full-time only around mid-June!
We did come up with a couple of comprehensive posts, looking into the players we should sign & the one’s we should offload from our squad come summer. Here are the links to them just in case :-
But today let’s take our attention away from the usual banter & have a look at something special. Now a few of you might have seen this before, but trust me for any Arsenal fan, it’s worth a watch – again and again and again! It is in no way demeaning to erstwhile Nazi’, the offense bit is only reserved for the Tottenham supporters around!
On a serious note, Was Hitler indeed a Tottenham fan!? Find out for yourselves :-
Note:If any of you want to share your views/opinions on the club from N5 (read: Arsenal!), leave Us a comment at the bottom. We’ll get back right away & be glad to give you a chance. Keep Gunning..
The part of the season where nerves begin to kick-in, is here. An important last 5 games lie in store for us, starting with a tricky local derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
With our last game coming in a 4-1 defeat against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League, the team’s stamina could’ve been low, the team could’ve lost all belief, however.. we had a free weekend. Allowing Wenger to get to grips with the team a little more, show them what needs to be done to continue the push for the Barclays Premier League against local rivals, ‘Spurs. ‘Spurs’ve been flying through their fixtures, thick & fast. Games against Portsmouth, Sunderland & Portsmouth again, have left Redknapp re-shuffling the back four and midfield, in order for them to be ready for the derby.
Ross, a passionate Arsenal fan from England, takes time out & previews the game for 11G. You can follow him on Twitter as well!
Over the past week & a half, one late goal, one sprinter, & one God-like human, have caught the fancy of Us Gooners like no one else & like never before. Whilst the former two belong to the ‘Red ‘n White’ half of London, the latter hails from the cryptic land of Cataluña. It goes without saying that the men in question are Niklas Bendtner, Theo Walcott & ‘the’ Lionel Messi. 11G takes time out to dig deep into their individual cases..
Circa 2006. Arsenal 2-0 down at the break. One certain Sol Campbell was to blame for the looming defeat at the hands of West Ham. As a result, Wenger took him off and with it came supposed curtains on one of the more decorated central defenders in recent time.
Cut to 2010. Arsenal 2-0 up at the break. Against who? You guessed it, West Ham! And guess who was taken off at HT this time around? You got it, the good’ol Sol Campbell. Only this time it marked his second homecoming.
11Gunners celebrates his journey back into the Arsenal dressing room..
