Thanks To The Almighty

The break has been boring but there is a lot to come on the other side of the break. We have 1 good news and 1 bad news. The age old nemesis of Arsenal has raised its head again. No, we are not talking about Man Utd. They got plain lucky last time. We are talking about ‘INJURY’..The good news is that Walcott is back. He is available for selection and he might get his first game against the ‘Citizens’. He will provide that extra zing from the right side. The dual role that he is playing for England has surely taken its toll. We @ 11gunners hope that good sense prevails and he is relieved of this dual role that he is playing @ the moment.

Yet Another Injury...

The bad news is that defender Johan Djourou is expected to be out of action for around six months after undergoing knee surgery. Djourou sustained the injury on international duty last month, ahead of the friendly against Italy. But all is not lost. We have Senderos who can fill in from him. The role for Senderos in this campaign has become clear now. It is good that we did not sell him. He can be very useful as a stop gap arrangement in case of any injury to our frontline defenders. Eduardo is also fit to take the field against City. He has recovered from the minor injury he sustained few days back. Though there has been no reports about match fitness of Nasri or Rosicky.

Meanwhile skipper Fabregas has said that

“We will not be bullied by anybody”
