Nasri Scores A Wonder Goal
“When the going gets tough, the tough gets going..”, and so we heard a long time back. The stakes couldn’t be higher when the Gunners squared up against a resilient Porto side in the decider for a place in the quarters of the Champion’s League, last evening. Trailing by a single goal, an away goal at that, from the first leg, and with home support to cheer them on, Arsenal were doing rather OK going into the match. But when our skipper Fabregas picked up an injury against Burnley at the weekend, there were suspicions on whether we could create enough for the likes of Bendtner to finish. Not forgetting the Dane’s conversion rate in front of the goal-mouth, the situation became all the more precarious. But the display which the Gunners belted out in front of another packed Emirates crowd is what reiterates our faith in Wenger’s ‘Young Guns’ time & again.
The final score read: Arsenal 5 – Porto 0, & we @11G celebrate the same right now..

We Miss You Robin!
Arsenal until recently, were the leading goal-poachers not just in England, but in the whole of Europe. Now that is a remarkable stat if you consider the acute paucity of goal-guzzlers at the Emirates this season. For a while Wenger had a full repertoire to choose from, in likes of Van Persie, Bendtner, Arshavin, Vela, Eduardo, & we are not even counting Walcott here! Injuries ripped right through our front-line & left us seriously short on armory. The transfer window came & bid adieu, but Arsene didn’t flutter one bit, much to the dismay of the faithful. He stuck by his guns & is now supposedly through the so-called ‘striker crisis’ facing his ranks.

My Time Is 'Now'
Niklas Bendtner has come out in the open and has claimed his desire to be a ‘Top Gunner‘ someday. The Danish forward is just 21 and has time on his side. The talent is very much their, just that he needs to harness it in equanimity. News just filtered in that Bendtner is out for 4 weeks following a groin injury he sustained in the game against Tottenham Hotspurs, which the Gunners won 3-1 on the day.
11Gunners wishes Niklas a speedy recovery and kudos in his quest to become the very best..

Not too happy, are you?
If you have followed the season from its commencement, this Danish 21 year old would have unmistakably caught your attention. Niklas Bendtner looks more and more like an evolved player but the latest is that the Dane is unhappy with this new avatar – the winger role Arsene has trusted upon him. Is it another situation of what’s best for the player against what’s best for the club – 11Gunners brings the matter under spotlight..

26 X 2 = 52, WOW!!
Will a switch from 26 to 52 mean a change in fortunes of the Pink Panther!?

There are players in the Team a Fan can rely on. They assure you of 100% effort each outing and the Fans connect with that zeal, that commitment. I’d put Clichy and Almunia in that league. Then there are the ones who are mercurial. On their day they can be potent match winners, on an off day they can go unnoticed. Van Persie and Fabregas are names that come to mind from the current crop of players. One player who is hard to categorize is Niklas Bendtner..
