365 days & some 275 posts later, we are proud to announce our 1′st blog-anniversary today! And to make things even better -

Arsenal just won the Emirates Cup!

Couldn’t have asked for a better birthday present really! Goals from Vela, Sagna & Nasri sealed it for us; what was the 1′st of the 5 trophies on offer this season. Lets hope one of many..

Without boring you too much, we just want to take this opportunity & thank each one of YOU for bringing us so far. A special mention to each of our guest writers over the past year; who’ve not only taken time out to write for us, but have also engaged our readers with their different yet erudite views.

And last but not the least, we wish to thank the love of our lives – Arsenal FC, for making this day such a memorable one.

Proud to be a Gooner & In Arsene We Trust..

Two weeks ago Arsenal were 11 points behind Chelsea, 6 behind United, and written off by many pundits and fans who had lost patience. Suddenly, everyone who had written us off is scrambling to save face.

But as for the other bit: ‘NEWS’ does not really have any part to play in the making of this newspaper at all. They make things up.

Tony Attwood, an Editor with Arsenal.com, takes time out and explains the above exclusively for 11Gunners..
