Return of the Prodigal Son??

Tweet If there exists a perfect tonic before the start of the season, there could be one in the making. The captain of the ship might just be back to take command.Yes you heard me right, Patrick Vieira might be making a sensational move back to North London. Just take a moment and think about it..

Red for the new boy in Red!!!

Red for the new boy in Red!

The otherwise so dependable Spainard was in a generous mood. Maybe the ebullience of being crowned World Champions hasn’t phased out a month later. His last minute gift has helped us avoid an opening day defeat, a day on which we played with rhythm but not exactly the killer instinct required to overpower a team like Liverpool in their own den. A last gasp equaliser feels more like a victory though and Wenger shall be contented with the result in the end. 11G looks at Arsenal’s encounter against the Merseysiders as the Premiership gushes into life in its inaugural weekend..

We Are Gunner Be Champions!

We Are Gunner Be Champions!

It took Arsenal 145 days to regain the top slot from their trans-London rivals Chel@Sea, and boy did they cream it or what!? A colossal display against Bolton in the mid-week ensured temporary stint at the summit for the Gunners. I say temporary as Chel@Sea still have a game in hand, something we prided having for most parts this season. 11G looks back at their story so far..

Down but not out!!

Down but not out!!

Our title aspirations receieved a severe dent when we were beaten by Sunderland last evening. A planned and organised Sunderland squad got the better of us riding on the back of a solitary goal from their in form striker Darren Bent. With Chelsea showing no signs of relinquishing their hold on the top spot and United breathing down our neck, will winning the League become that much more difficult in the aftermath of yesterday’s events, 11Gunners takes a look..

The Fallen Will Rise Again..

The Fallen Will Rise Again..

This weekend has been a bit busy for us @ 11Gunners. It is festival time here in India and the atmosphere is fantabulous all over the place. And Arsenal made this Diwaliextra special by cleaning up Birmingham in style. It was a clinical performance and Arsenal deserved the 3 points that they got against the ‘Guerilla Warriors‘. The biggest disappointment of the match was injury sustained by Walcott. He is out for a month or so and it is high time that Birmingham registers itself in WWE..

Payback Time...

Payback Time...

The last meeting between these 2 sides were not suited for a football field. It should have taken place in a jungle. Arsenal players were literally broken down by Birmingham into pieces. This tie derailed our season forever. In fact, we never managed to recover after what happened in this tie last time around. Incidents like those pose a huge question mark on the physical style of play prevalent in EPL and should quality players be given more protection from guerrilla warriors who play anything but football.
