Time To Silence The Kop..

Tweet In Arshavin We Trust! Finally we get to quench our thirst for football action this weekend! As usual, most of the pundits have written us off already. We are even tipped by some (read as most) to fall behind Manchester City. Is this new to us? No! Anyway, we know how big the brains of those pundits...

Top Guns!

Top Guns!

Interesting but steady start of the season for Arsenal FC, a few of the week’s issues..

The first game this season has passed and what a tough one we got. Let’s not make a mistake about this; Anfield away is one of the toughest fixtures we could have got. In this particular season, it perhaps was the hardest from the lot. The fact that Liverpool has got a new manager that has certainly brought a feel good factor back to that part of Merseyside, and also the fact that they made a very good signing with Joe Cole and more importantly kept Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres at the club. When speaking on the weekly fan’s forum on Arsenal TV Online, Tom Watt asked if I would take a draw and after much thought I said I would. It was important not to lose and certainly after keeping the ball pretty much the whole game; it would have been a huge disappointment to lose, so a draw was not a bad result.

That TShirt means the world to him!!

That jersey means the world to him!

You can all breathe a sigh of relief. What had started as a petty rumour, turned into a widespread speculation and then into an endless saga has concluded officially today as the man himself has vowed his future to Arsenal. The home where he wasn’t born but has become what he is today – one of the most dangerous midfielders of the modern game.

This much awaited declaration is bound to lift the spirits at N5 as the rigors of the new season is lurking round the corner; Cesc will be here, Barcelona’s endless pursuit has after all been in vain. The feeling is almost akin to that of a new signing, at one point of time his return to Catalonia seemed almost inevitable. It is time to rejoice and now single mindedly focus on the new season and 11Gunners explains why this piece of news is the right tonic at the right time..

Catalan C*nts

Catalan C*nts

“..I do however have some interesting facts for you, which for some reason oblivious to me; have been hidden from the public domain. These facts include the following..”

Over the past month or so, we Gooners, have been at utter loss of words given the very nature of scathing verbose showered at Cesc, courtesy the courtesy-less Catalans (read: C*nts). Left, right & center, they’ve left no space uncovered in teaming up against our charismatic captain, in a bid to lure him back to what they wrongly believe his home. Let’s face it; he learnt all his craft under the able tutelage of Arsene at London Colney. He might have been team-mates with Pique & Messi when in diapers at the Cantera (read: C*nt-era), but if it were not for Arsenal, he’d be rotting on one of the many crocked benched at Camp Nou.

All that is history though, & it looks very likely that we’re gonna procure the services of Fabregas for yet another season (one of many I hope). Amidst the entire melee, modern football was introduced to a very new kinda parameter to negotiate, re-negotiate a possible transfer. Usually it’s the money & the number of years left in the contract which matter; players can now even buy themselves outta a contract if they really want to move on. Fair enough I reckon. But never before in the history of football, a person’s DNA decided which club he should go to, did it!? In one of the feedbacks on 11G, I found this really intuitive take as to why exactly are these Catalans so obsessed with the tiny threads called DNA. Read on & hope you like it :)

El Capitan

El Capitan is a 'Gunner for life'

We all know of the Star Wars saga; multiple movies that stretch out over a long period of time. And eventually those characters grow old. Gooners have been involved in a different type of saga, the Cesc saga, where multiple transfer rumours have stretched out over a few years. And the rumours, too, have grown old; to the point of frustration for all Arsenal fans.

Back off you Barca Cu*ts...

Back off you Barca Cu*ts..

Greeting fellows! It was a wonderful day, until now. And it’s not only my day that has been ruined but of a lot of gooners around the world. And all of this has been due to some PARASITES who feed off others’ prowess and treat ‘success’ as their own. They don’t care to behave themselves and consider themselves above EVERYTHING. It’s none other than Puyol, the caveman and Pique, the Man U reject. I feel pity for those guys. I really do. Read on..
