Theo - finally living upto his number eh?
It was a massive win on Saturday by the Arsenal at Ewood Park. We overturned our woeful result of April in the very same ground and won away to a Fat Sam managed team, which we haven’t done since 2002, and that includes the Invincibles.
It’s nice to see us sitting with 7 points after two tough away trips, and to say, we haven’t even hit top form is something nice to know. Last season, we were on top of our game but we had one win and two losses at this very juncture after two away games. Read on..

Magic Waiting To Happen
I have tried to get away from the new signing, or the Mark Schwarzer situation and even the champions league draw.
I have been hearing people telling me that Arshavin isn’t as good as everyone makes out and is just an over-rated player.
On Saturday, I spent the first 20 minutes just watching Andrey Arshavin and if I am honest, he gave the ball to the opposition more then he gave it to his own team mates.
However, the first goal is when his game changed and he provided a good assist for Theo Walcott and off course stepped up for the penalty for the second goal.
These first 20 minutes summed Andrey Arshavin out for me. He can be slightly hit and miss, he can be quiet all game but do something special like score a goal or provide an assist or just make something happen.

We Miss You Robin!
Arsenal until recently, were the leading goal-poachers not just in England, but in the whole of Europe. Now that is a remarkable stat if you consider the acute paucity of goal-guzzlers at the Emirates this season. For a while Wenger had a full repertoire to choose from, in likes of Van Persie, Bendtner, Arshavin, Vela, Eduardo, & we are not even counting Walcott here! Injuries ripped right through our front-line & left us seriously short on armory. The transfer window came & bid adieu, but Arsene didn’t flutter one bit, much to the dismay of the faithful. He stuck by his guns & is now supposedly through the so-called ‘striker crisis’ facing his ranks.

We Are Gunner Be Champions!
It took Arsenal 145 days to regain the top slot from their trans-London rivals Chel@Sea, and boy did they cream it or what!? A colossal display against Bolton in the mid-week ensured temporary stint at the summit for the Gunners. I say temporary as Chel@Sea still have a game in hand, something we prided having for most parts this season. 11G looks back at their story so far..

Early Christmas For Arsenal
This match was supposed to test the sincerity of our title challenge. It was a test for sure, but not for Arsenal. And the scoreline suggests that Wolverhampton was found wanting in this test. They still haven’t come to terms with the premiership and if they don’t manage to do so soon enough, they will have to say ‘bye-bye’ to it. Arsenal scored goals for fun and this is not the first time that they have done so, this season. Arsenal’s attack is second to none but clean sheets have been hard to come by this season.
