Speculations have been rife regarding the possible transfer of Bordeaux frontman Maroune Chamakh. Negotiations have taken a concrete structure with news circulating that Arsene Wenger has made a bid for the Morroco international though no Official confirmation has been received thus far..
With Adebayor acquiring “City-zenship”, the 25 year old whose close control and aerial abilities have been appreciated thus far can indeed turn out to be a suitable replacement. His contribution in front of goal and his frequency of assists propelled Bordeaux to clinching the Ligue 1 season of 2008-09. Since then he has been persistently linked to the Gunners though a high asking price may still dampen the possible move.
Meanwhile the news that Arsenal were chasing Italy’s world cup winner Danielle de Rossi had generated enthusiasm among fans and neutrals alike but the frankly speaking, the move seems less of a reality today than it did a week ago with De Rossi himself stating his satisfaction with his current club, AS Roma.
After a positive start to the Emirates Cup, the Gunners will look to keep the good work in the “Battle of Britain” against Rangers. Arsenal fans may not take very kindly to Rangers whose fans had mutilated Arsenal’s erstwhile home, Highbury in the 1980’s causing damage of property. It should be an exciting contest and we will be bringing the best moments of the match right here for you.

considering the offensive options we already have and the fact tht arshavin is more of a striker than a midfielder, arsene should consider strengthening the defense more..
Dishum! agreed..
but with the likes of Bendtner waiting to be substituted for arshavin, i wud really prefer a professional on the pitch..
dude he’z not just a soldier….
