Poll: Which Striker Should Arsene Buy In January??

Waiting To Embrace You Mario. Come Over! November has been a disastrous month for the team from North London. First Van Persie got injured on International duty with Holland, then Arsenal lost back to back games against Sunderland & Chelsea towards the end of the month, and then to make things worse,...

These Are The Champions..
These Are The Champions..

Arsenal played an exquisite match last night. Total football in totality. We drilled in 3 and the 4-3-3 seems to be working allright.  In fact 4-3-3 seems like the best system for Arsenal FC. The young gunns are are no more boys. They are ready to step up. We @11gunners are pleased to present the after thoughts of the game and moreg..

The game was a beauty to watch. But it had its share of controversy. Eduardo has been accused of diving for a penalty. It is  a known fact that we @ Arsenal don’t dive. It is an art perfected by Ronaldo, Drogba and co. Though the resulting penalty was slotted in in a beautiful way. It was caressed past the goalie.

On the whole Arsenal outplayed the Scots. Eboue scored a beautiful goal from the edge of D. Even Henry would have been proud of that. Fans don’t hate him any more. The icing on the cake was provided by our very own Arshavin. He is the 3rd best thing Russia has exported till date. 1st being Vodka and 2nd being Kournikova. The Russian is a dynamite.

If Arshavin and Fabregas remain fit, the Season is ours.

Here is a sneak-preview of what to expect from our European rivals in the Group stages:

AZ Alkmaar
This is Alkmaar’s first appearance in the Champions League Group Stage. Arsenal played AZ most recently in a pre-season match in August 2006. The Gunners ran out 3-0 winners on the occasion.

Olympiacos
The Greek champions reached the Group Stage having defeated Slovan Bratislava 4-0 over two legs in the Third Qualifying Round. They then beat FC Sheriff 3-0 on aggregate in their Play-Off.

Standard Liege
This is the first time Standard Liege have competed in the Champions League Group Stage. The Belgian champions eliminated Everton in the First Round of last season’s Uefa Cup, having come agonisingly close to doing the same to Liverpool in the Champions League Third Qualifying Round. Arsenal beat Liege 7-0 away in the 1993/94 Cup Winners’ Cup. The scoreline remains Arsenal’s biggest away victory.

I guess a scoreline of 8-0 and upwards can be predicted for one of the above. Surely!

Keep Gunning..
