Go Gunners... This week has not changed a lot as far as title pursuit in EPL is concerned. But nevertheless this week’s results have confirmed some notions. First of all is Liverpool’s title pursuit is over for all practical purpose after they lost 3 goals to 1 against Fulham. Another confirmation...

Men Who Matter

Men Who Matter

The Premier Club Competition is here all over again. Arsenal managed to qualify for the much coveted Group Stages for the 12′th season on the trot by dislodging Celtic in the qualifying round. Having made it to the Semis last term, any success this year will solely depend on whether we are able to improve on last terms performance or not. And that means a trip to the Bernabeau’ come May. An 11Gunners count-in of the boys/men who are gonna help us do an encore this term..

Goalkeepers: Manuel Almunia, Lukasz Fabianski, Vito Mannone, James Shea, Wojciech Szczesny

Men To Watch: In the absence of Almunia, either of Fabianski or Mannone will have to step-up to the big league. Fabianski flattered to decieve in the FA Cup semis last term. Hope its a much better show this time around.

Fabianski: Time To Feel@Home!

Fabianski: Time To Feel@Home!

Defenders: Bacary Sagna, Thomas Vermaelen, Philippe Senderos, William Gallas, Mikael Silvestre, Johan Djourou, Gael Clichy, Emmanuel Eboue, Kieran Gibbs, Armand Traore, Kyle Bartley, Thomas Cruise, Craig Eastmond, Cedric Evina, Kerrea Gilbert, Gavin Hoyte, Luke Ayling

Men To Watch: Thomas Vermaelen has looked worth every cent spent on him during the off season. The former Ajax captain would look to achieve glory with the Gunners in the UCL and prove all his skeptics that he is good enough to survive in the big league. Senderos, after his stint at the ‘Cathedral of Defence’, would be much polished and would place claim to become a first team starter if ang when given a chance. And ofcourse the little lad, Gibbs. After the horrors of marking CR7 last season, the much talented left-back would look up the ante.

Vermaelen: Up And Running!

Midfielders: Abou Diaby, Cesc Fabregas, Tomas Rosicky, Samir Nasri, Denilson, Aaron Ramsey, Alexandre Song, Jack Wilshere, Fran Merida, Nacer Barazite, Francis Coquelin, Emmanuel Frimpong, Conor Henderson, Mark Randall

Men To Watch: First word that comes to mind is ‘WOW’! Seriously, a first team mid-field of-

Rosicky-Fabregas-Denilson-Nasri

is the best Europe has got. If only injuries were i.e.!

Rosicky is like a new signing to us after a lengthy lay-off. He would love to show the Continent that he still has the mastery and the class which raised his stock few years back. Captain Cesc would surely give it his all to make sure Arsenal win the eluding Champions League this season. He knows that we can, lets learn from the captain then!

Song and Denilson would want to improve on an impressive start to this season and the duo of Ramsey and Wilshere would aspire to shine in whatever action they see on Europe’s biggest stage.

Rosicky: The 'Mozart' Is Back!

Rosicky: The 'Mozart' Is Back!

Forwards: Eduardo, Robin van Persie, Carlos Vela, Theo Walcott, Andrey Arshavin, Rhys Murphy, Gilles Sunu, Nicklas Bendtner, Sanchez Watt.

Men To Watch: Eduardo, after a horror injury, is back. Another bout of controversies surrounded him for the early part of the season, but he’s back alright. He is a proven striker with Croatia. I still fee lArsenal are yet to see his full potential. He can be ‘that’ missing link we have been lokking for and with the supplying line as rich as Arsenal, no doubt he will have chances galore. And trust him to kill most of them, ahoy! The ‘Russian’ has ‘win’ in his name. He is here to do just that. Arshavin was Cup-tied last term. This is his term to show what ingenuine qualities God almighty has bestowed upon his two feet. Someone who can set the stage on fire from the word ‘Go’. Look out for him. Walcott, another injury prone guy, would also like to step up after a fairly good end of last season.

Arshavin: Lets Lick Some!

Arshavin: Lets Lick Some!

The squad looks good enough. The spirit seems bright enough. The hunger seems palpable enough. Its time the anthem’s are played out and the Champion’s League ‘feel’ is absorbed. C’mon you Arsenal, its about time we Gunners croon:

“The Champion’s Are Here..”
