The Domestic Battle Returns

The Domestic Battle Returns

The hiatus of the International break proved to be a rather costly one for all Gooners. Several of our torchbearers, Robin Van Persie, Abou Diaby and the young Kieran Gibbs failed to return as they had gone. Our tryst with injuries has always been a forgettable one, however we should conjure enough creativity and magic to dispose off Sunderland, but it would be foolish to underestimate them.11Gunners looks at the Game as EPL is knocking again at your doorsteps..

Yes, a lot has been said and done during this time with all our injury concerns and the incident involving our legend Thierry Henry, it hasn’t exactly been a cheerful time off the field for those associated with our club. However, our current squad has the ability to make us forget all that will a scintillating display of their own and that is what we’ll be expecting tomorrow evening.

Silvestre will fill in as left back temporarily and we hope he can manage it temporarily given his experience at this level. Sunderland’s disciplinary record has drawn scorn from rest of the League and one eye will be on emerging physically unscathed out of the Stadium of Light as massive games against Chelsea and then Liverpool remain lined up for us.

The Black Cats have been extremely mpressive so far and if there performances against Liverpool and Man United are anything to go by, there will be no free lunch tomorrow. We will have to earn every bit of it. Though goalscoring hasn’t been any concern for us, with Persie out we’ll need Eduardo to step up as the frontsman. The Croatian was guilty of missing simple chances earlier against Spurs and he’ll have to get back to his adept finishing skills that make him a Gunner favorite.

MATCH PREDICTION

Sunderland1- 3 Arsenal

I expect and hope Fabregas will be at it again, we need him to continue his magic in front of goal specially with Persie out of action. Arshavin and Eduardo are the pther chosen ones to deliver for us.

Lets hope we put all the doubts and disappointments off the field and climb up the Premiership Ladder in our own dynamic style!!
