A Case Of Two Penalties..

Tweet Paying The Penalty? Over the past week, two spot-kicks have taken the footballing world by a storm. Actually three, if you exclude the one not given to a certain Arshavin for a foul as clear as any. The one’s which were given involve Eduardo da Silva and Wayne Rooney. While Eduardo had genuine...

Arsenal v Barcelona is without doubt the biggest draw of the Champion’s League quarter finals, commencing later this month. Henry vs Campbell, Messi vs Clichy, Fabregas vs Xavi, Arshavin vs Puyol, Wenger vs Guardiola, and we can go on & on & on. Almost each position has a rivalry of its own. It’ll be a game of galactic proportions without a shadow of a doubt.

We @11G ( Do Follow Us on Twitter!) decided to commission a Poll in order to try & comprehend which of the aforementioned duels, will after all, be detrimental to the final outcome. Have your say RIGHT NOW:

One Nil To The Opposition!

One Nil To The Opposition!

Buy a striker Arsene.” “Why doesn’t Arsene buy a winger?” “Wenger should seriously fish in the market for a strong, tough-tackling midfielder.” “Arsenal needs a mean defender if they are to remain in contention this term.” And as we were busy quoting, re-quoting the above, another one flew in our net! Hell, the ‘one nil to the Arsenal’ coinage has now become ‘Arsenal one down’ & the prime reason behind this is not the paucity of forwards, or the inability of our mid-fielders, or for that matter the brawn of our defence. More often than not, it’s the custodian who has let the team down. 11G probes the case of ‘The 3 Muskepeers’ right now..

Waiting To Embrace You Mario. Come Over!

Waiting To Embrace You Mario. Come Over!

November has been a disastrous month for the team from North London. First Van Persie got injured on International duty with Holland, then Arsenal lost back to back games against Sunderland & Chelsea towards the end of the month, and then to make things worse, we find that Robin is now virtually out of rest of the season. 11Gunners delves in to pick out possible recruits..

Agreed. Both Eduardo & Vela are physically and mentally not fit/ready to step up and fit into Van Persie’s boots. And boy does that take some fitting into or what!? Arshavin has been sick with nostalgia as Russia is no more making the trip to Africa next summer. As a result, the ‘All-Firing Gunners’ have overnight turned into ‘Firing-Blank Gunners‘. We need to buy and buy quick. A look into some of the options the Professor has:

There Is Only One Arsene

There Is Only One Arsene

The English Premier League has seen some stalwarts over the years. Men whose ‘Vision‘ and ‘Knowledge‘ have been detrimental to their teams success. The likes of Arsene Wenger, Sir Alex et al have been proven winners with zeons of experience behind them. Ancelotti and Benitez, too, have tasted success amany. Young turks like David Moyes, Martin O’Neil, Mark Hughes are all managing teams which on their day, are capable enough to give the best a run for their money. So who exactly is the best of the lot?

We@11Gunners look into the same this week..

Captain Extraordinaire!

Captain Extraordinaire!

“What goes around, comes around.”

The above is a well-known adage for ages now? Only that, in the case of one Mr. Cesc Fabregas, this ceases to let go! No week in football goes without the famous tabloids, shouting in the most graphic of ways, in reference to the possible  transfer of ‘Little Cesc‘ to one of the European heavyweights ie Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan etc. Not that these clubs don’t want him, instead they want him like a ‘Mistress in Misery‘. But what disgusts Arsene the most, is the fact that, despite Arsenal FC making it crystal clear that Cesc is going nowhere, the player himself having reiterated the same, this refuses to die down. So is it really futile that he left.

We @ 11Gunners find out which actually is the best club for ‘Super Cesc‘ to ply his trade..
