King Henry
There are Wingers, there are Forwards, and then there was a Thierry Henry. In August 99’, when Henry arrived at Highbury from Turin having had a torrid time in Juventus, not many were aware of the plethora of talents he possessed. One man did, and that made all the difference. Wenger, who had previously coached Henry at Monaco, was very sure of his compatriot and believed he had in him to make it big in the Premier League. He couldn’t be more right..

Another 'Won' In The Bag!
One doesn’t have to be a football expert to say that Bergkamp was a genius. Anyone who has watched him play will vouch for that. The legendary player arrived at Highbury in 1995 and the credit for the shift in Arsenal style of football from defensively robust play to sharp attacking football can be majorly attributed to him.

Captain Corageous
Having arrived at Arsenal the same year as the new Manager i.e. 96’, Patrick Vieira immediately stamped his authority on the Premier League. From a squad player in Milan to the club captain in London, his sojourn at N5 was to go down as one of the brightest periods in Arsenal’s history..

Robert 'Bobby' Pires
With a World Cup and a Euro win under his belt, Robert Pires arrived at Highbury with some reputation to boot. Although he initially struggled to meet the rigors of the English game, something he was first to admit, with time he sure left his mark. Despite having missed the final stages of the 01-02’ title-winning campaign, his team mates still bowed down to him as he lifted the title, an obvious attempt to acknowledge his contribution to the team’s success. But things were about to get even better..

Fred In Red!
Having arrived at Highbury after doing well for Sweden in Euro 00’, Freddie Ljungberg had an immediate impact with the Gunners as he scored barely seconds into his debut game against Manchester United. A record equaling feat of scoring in two successive FA Cup finals bludgeoned his reputation to the hilt. What ensued in times to come turned into an impregnable bond which went on to achieve great things together..
