Conference Room @ the Emirates!

The Press Area

Over the past fortnight we gave you an opportunity (through our Facebook & Twitter handles) to clear all the doubts about our beloved Arsenal. We got close to 30 questions in all; not a massive number but good enough to kick-start this feedback session!

Some of them were really eye-catching & well-versed. Here are the top-7 from that lot..

For those of you still curious as to who answered them, for the sake of authenticity alone; it’s our very own friend from UK, Akhil (an intern with The Mirror) who took out time & came up with his insightful & much-valued views.

Theo - finally living upto his number eh?

It was a massive win on Saturday by the Arsenal at Ewood Park. We overturned our woeful result of April in the very same ground and won away to a Fat Sam managed team, which we haven’t done since 2002, and that includes the Invincibles.

It’s nice to see us sitting with 7 points after two tough away trips, and to say, we haven’t even hit top form is something nice to know. Last season, we were on top of our game but we had one win and two losses at this very juncture after two away games. Read on..

Andrey Arshavin – Is He Just An Average Player Who Is Over-rated?

Magic Waiting To Happen

I have tried to get away from the new signing, or the Mark Schwarzer situation and even the champions league draw.

I have been hearing people telling me that Arshavin isn’t as good as everyone makes out and is just an over-rated player.

On Saturday, I spent the first 20 minutes just watching Andrey Arshavin and if I am honest, he gave the ball to the opposition more then he gave it to his own team mates.

However, the first goal is when his game changed and he provided a good assist for Theo Walcott and off course stepped up for the penalty for the second goal.

These first 20 minutes summed Andrey Arshavin out for me. He can be slightly hit and miss, he can be quiet all game but do something special like score a goal or provide an assist or just make something happen.

Time to tame the Rovers..

My first two attempts at predicting the score lines in the Premier league haven’t been too successful but I shall endeavor to do just a little bit better this week. With an international break coming up after this week’s games my predictions won’t be back until two weeks from now. Here we go with this week’s predictions and don’t forget that if you want to win some money then back the teams I’m picking to lose.

Spurs: A Failure Since Time Immemorial

Spurs: A Failure Since Time Immemorial

I was surfing through the net today and I found this wonderful tool meant to celebrate Spurs’ failure since ages (since 1961, to be precise :P ;) The first thought that came to my mind once I saw this was that this gadget needs to be shared among fellow gooner and thus this post on 11G. The tool has been developed by Up The Arse, a fanzine. This tool is basically a clock which tells us the amount of time passed since Tiny Totts won the league. The link to the tool is here. I welcome Gooners all over the world  to go ahead and enjoy this magic gadget. Read on..
